Did you know that there are up to 7 different plastic types? Type #1 and #2 are the easiest to recycle while type #7 is the most difficult so it is usually not accepted at most recycle centers. As you can see, there more to recycling than meets the eye. And not all centers accept glass and not all glass is recyclable, so you Need to check if they accept or are accepted beforehand. In addition, you need to make sure you clean your recyclables! I’m not saying you need to wash them until they are squeaky clean.
