Chicken Parmesan Sliders

This is a very easy dish that doesn’t require much. And it is Delicious! Trust me. These chicken parmesan sliders are just mmmmm… So lets get started already!

The Details

This recipe only requires a 9×13 inch baking tray/dish. And just in case, you might want a baking rack so the bottom won’t get soggy. If you don’t have a rack that fits, just use a baking sheet covered in foil and put the baking rack on that. Both the baking sheet and dish will work the same. As for the prep time, it will be 10 minutes max. Cook time is 20 minutes. Can serve up to 4-6 people. This could be an appetizer, but I use it as an actual dish. Moving on to the ingredients.

The Ingredients

  • 1 12 pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup marinara
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup basil, chopped
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

The Directions

Ok, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the hawaiian rolls in half, lengthwise. So everything will have a top and bottom half. Move the top half aside for now and put the bottom onto your baking rack or dish. Now, when it comes to the chicken, I can’t find any already shredded rotisserie chicken. If you have the same problem, then just buy a whole rotisserie chicken and shred it yourself. Spread the chicken evenly onto the bottom half of the rolls. Follow that up with the marinara, mozzarella, and basil (the chopped basil, not the finely chopped). Place the top half of the rolls on top.

Now in a small bowl, melt the butter and mix with the garlic, finely chopped basil, and the parmesan. Then brush this mixture on the top of the rolls. Or if you don’t have a brush you can spoon it on like I do. After that, bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
